Blankets 2

We had our book club meeting yesterday. Strong discussion about Blankets. I could tell that some people were simply uncomfortable with the graphic novel format. Not having much experience with the genre, I can understand their feeling. I don't know that we'll be reading another graphic novel any time soon, but who knows.

As for my sentence, I couldn't come up with anything clever. The one I got, though, was pretty cool. It was about a junkie shooting up and praying to God that he doesn't hit a vein. I wonder where I should take this thing..."And then I woke up and got ready for work." No, that would be disingenuous. I don't know much about the world of junkies, but I've seen Trainspotting. I'll have a go.
