Kim Is A Moron

We're a little over halfway through season two of "24." We're watching it on DVD, which I find a heck of a lot easier than the thought of watching one episode a week over the course of six months. This show was made for DVD.
The episodes are crack-like in that as soon as you finish one, you are seriously jonesing for the next one. I can do about four consecutive, provided it's not gone later than 10:00 PM, in which case I will simply fall asleep even if there is a show on about the Beatles, hosted by Kate Beckinsale naked.
Season two is better than season one. The story seems to arc nicely so that it's almost like two mini-seasons in one, and there's a bit more at stake than Jack's family.
Of course, Jack's family IS in more danger than everybody else. Elisha Cuthbert's character Kim drives me crazy. The only joy in watching her scenes is to try to guess what stupid decision or implausible situation she's going to get into next, and then waiting for it to work itself out. Apparently CTU's most immediate priority after busting terrorists is to help keep track of an ex-employee's daughter.
I'm looking forward to season three's DVD release, whenever that happens. I've heard that season three sucks at first, then gets really good. At any rate, don't tell me about it. It was hard enough avoiding the teasers that FOX would show during "The Simpsons."
