Wired Decapitates the Internet

In a move sure to send shockwaves rippling throughout the stickler community, Wired News is no longer capitalizing the i in internet, the n in net, or the w in web. The act is a complete turnaround from accepted practice and sets Wired News at odds with technical writers and more formal publications such as the New Yorker and the Chicago Manual of Style.

Does this mean that I have to stop hyphenating e-mail, or make Web site one word? A lot of documents are going to have to be updated.

The times...they are, indeed, a-changin'.
