Sunday Night Wind Down

A good weekend. We saw Kill Bill, both volumes. They were better than my expectations for it were. I'm glad I knew about the level of violence beforehand, but the violence was really comic. It was like a live-action "Itchy and Scratchy" cartoon.

We also had our bookclub meeting today, where we talked about "Bringing Down the House," the one about the M.I.T. kids who used their engineering skills to mount a card-counting assault on Vegas. Not exactly high literature, but it was a good middle summer book. A lot of fun. Next up for the book club, it's Saul and Patsy. I don't know anything about that one, but we'll see.

That's really the highlights of the weekend, besides yard work, which is never a hightlight. Oh, and we also joined Costco as well. It seems they treat their employees with respect.
