In Tonight's Performance, the Part of Frente will be Played by Mosquitos.

Mosquitos have a new album out October 5, Sunshine Barato. They performed "Domesticada," a rockin' little tune, on the John McEnroe show tonight, and I heard the end of "Boombox" as they came in from a commercial...it's great to see them getting some exposure. They are incredibly infectious and JuJu is totally cool.

They've redesigned their Web site for the new album, and are streaming a few songs, all of which sound pretty good. You can download an MP3 of their song "Boombox" from their first album from Amazon.

hello, my dear friend. i'm back. it's about damn time.
i didn't really like the mosquitos that much, i have to admit. they were okay. i liked the firey furnaces, though. that was catchy.
i was going to tell you something else. what was it? oh, yeah. i finally heard some Keane yesterday. i like them. kinda like Morrissey meets Travis meets Muse.
