Booked

We finally booked our flight to visit Jen's sister Mary in LA! If ever the time was right to unload the USAirways frequent flier miles, it's now.

We're going for a week after Thanksgiving. The plan is to spend a few days hanging around LA, and then rent a car and drive. We're not sure whether we're driving south to San Diego or north towards San Fran, but either way we want to enjoy the California coast.

The one time I went to LA, I have to say that it didn't strike me as my kind of town. I'm sure we'll have a good time, but I think I'm more excited about the driving part of the trip than actually spending much time in LA.
