Uncovered

"Patriotism is supporting your country all the time, and your government when it deserves it."
-Mark Twain

We just watched Uncovered: The War on Iraq, one of the latest in the new series of lefty documentaries. This one was better than Outfoxed simply because the subject matter remains an endless source of debate (no one debates whether FOX News is biased anymore).

This one also had a bit more gravitas stemming from the lack of Michael Moore-style theatrics and the sheer number of ex-CIA officers who took part. The CIA officers take great pride in their contribution to the intelligence community and were clearly personally offended by the Bush administration's manipulating and politicizing of intelligence data.

Uncovered is playing in theaters in bigger cities and is also currently available on DVD.
Newsweek also has an interesting story about how the left has embraced the documentary format as an effective antidote to the GOP's misinformation machine.
