Stipe Freaks Out Shirley Maclaine

Why is it that R.E.M. only makes news these days when one of them freaks someone else out? A couple of years ago, it's Buck on a plane. Is anyone even aware that there's a relatively new R.E.M. album out there? There are actually a couple of good songs on it, but other than that, yeah, it's bo-ring. It kills me to say that.

He said, "I told her about a dream I had with her in it, and I thought she'd get a laugh out of it."

She called security. I apologised and backed away. I'm a huge fan of her work as an actor. I was heartbroken." 

There's also a bit in that article about Stipe's sexual awakening and him getting hammered and naked. That's all well and good, but I kind of miss the enigmatic, mysterious Stipe. Some things are better left unsaid.

In his defense, I bet  Shirley Maclaine is really easily freaked.
