Damn I Have Pointy Elbows

Over the past four months, I've lost three supposedly high-quality work shirts from three different clothiers to elbow-rippage. Pointy elbows have always been a fact of life for me, but now it's costing me money.

I've tried to figure out what it is I'm doing. Part of it is certainly due to being behind a keyboard all day, my elbows just swinging around right and left, biding their time, wearing ever so steadily through the thin fabric. Oddly though, my coworkers don't have this happen. Just me.

Here's the death toll so far:

• 1 no-iron dress shirt, red and white checked: Both elbows.
• 1 dress shirt, forest green: Both elbows.
• 1 dress shirt, white with thin blue stripes: Right elbow.

I'm just glad that I can mix in some short sleeve polos for awhile.
